The "Intone Cutting Edge" Compensated Saddles

FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE

Absolutely the best compensated saddles made for the Telecaster! First of all, I made the Intone Cutting Edge saddles for me as a guitar player. I carefully thought out and designed what I truly believe will soon become the world's most popular saddles. They are designed so that the ends of the saddles touch. I chose to make them this way because it minimizes movement and helps with the overall sound. It took a lot of time, effort and looking at things in a new way to come up with this design. The E/A is even longer on the E string side, for more string clearance. The edges are designed to touch at the top and not at the bottom. This is a huge improvement. This new relief will allow you to follow the radius of your guitar neck without causing the saddles to separate. Precision machined from billet. State of the art CNC machining center. All three saddles line up perfectly, and are cut so that the edges line up straight. I offer solid Brass, Stainless Steel, Hardened Steel, Titanium, and Aluminum saddles. My goal is perfect intonation (within .1 Hz) on all six strings. The height adjustment screws are tilted back to keep them off the bridge-plate screws. They are also rounded on the bottom. I use a #4 height adjustment screw with a dome bottom for two reasons. They are not as wide as the traditional #6 screw, so you get more string clearance. The dome bottom insures that you get the best contact to your bridge-plate. Fillister head intonation screws, springs, and Allen head height adjustment screws are all stainless steel. Stainless steel hardware means that oil and sweat from your hands will not cause corrosion of the parts - leaving them easy to adjust for the life of the guitar. These saddles can be installed on any vintage style Tele bridge-plate with no modifications required. My Intone saddles come with directions, one Allen wrench, three springs, six dome bottom #4-40x3/8" height adjustment screws, two short dome bottom screws #4-40x5/16" and three intonation screws.

The "Historically Correct" Spanish Electric cold rolled steel saddle set

The first saddle sets that Leo made for his Spanish Electric guitars were made from a 5/16" cold rolled steel billet. Now for the first time, Glendale Guitars is offering an un-compensated saddle set made from a 5/16" cold rolled steel billet. Straight off the milling machine un-polished and un-plated, the bottom of the saddles are flat and the height adjustment screws angle back away from the bridge-plate mounting screws just like the original saddles did. This is as close as it gets to owning the real deal. This set is not for intonation, it is for anyone seeking to build a historically correct guitar. Slightly aged for a vintage look

Tele players! You will get a real kick out of my new nickel plated 1/4" cold rolled steel saddle set. They are the same material used in the early 50's, but the same size as the threaded ones used in the late 60's. I left them unthreaded so that they will line up perfectly on your guitar. Made to the same specs as my Intone Cutting Edge compensated saddles except I use 1/4" stock instead of 5/16" stock. Combining the best of the early 50’s and late 60’s, the Glendale "Cold Rolled" steel saddle set will give you that great vintage tone that made you want to take up guitar in the first place. Also available in brass.

Different saddle material will give your guitar different tones.

Brass has a very nice balanced tone of highs mids and lows. Aluminum adds highs without losing mids or lows. Cold rolled steel adds a very acoustical value to your guitars tone, more highs than brass but less highs than aluminum. Titanium is a very light weight and hard material the sound is similar to brass but adds a little sparkle to the highs.

"Wide Intone Twang" This set is for those who use a .052 /.038 or .050/.036 for E/A strings. The standard Intone saddles work great for your typical matched set of strings, that is, strings that are commonly paired together and sold in sets. When string gauges are used in less typical pairs (for example, an E/A pair of .052/.038), the standard Intone saddles will not produce the accurate (+/- .1Hz) intonation. Therefore, I have developed a saddle set with an alternate E/A saddle that I call “Wide Intone” for E/A string pairs that are widely different.
